# FILE 018 — WITNESS STATEMENTS

**Classification:** Civilian Testimony

**Status:** Archived

**Collection Period:** Multiple Years

**Related Investigation:** Bryce Trenchman Case Files

---

# OVERVIEW

The following witness statements were collected during multiple investigations conducted throughout Knolluck. Although each individual was interviewed separately, investigators identified numerous similarities between their accounts.

Some statements have been abbreviated for public release.

Personal information has been removed where necessary.

Investigators have never determined why so many unrelated witnesses described nearly identical experiences.

# INVESTIGATIVE ANALYSIS

Detectives Harris and Lopez identified several recurring similarities throughout the collected statements.

Most commonly reported were:

- A gray hooded sweatshirt.
- A calm demeanor.
- Little or no verbal communication.
- An unusually wide smile.
- Witnesses feeling watched before the encounter.
- Sudden disappearances.
- Animals behaving abnormally.
- Difficulty recalling portions of the event.

Although investigators documented these similarities, no official explanation has ever been established.
